Journal Sentinel: VA seeks redevelopment proposals for three more Milwaukee Soldiers Home district b

Efforts to continue redeveloping Milwaukee's historic Soldiers Home complex are expanding to three more buildings.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking proposals from developers to rehabilitate what are now vacant buildings in the Soldiers Home National Historic Landmark District.

The buildings are on or near Mitchell Boulevard, between I-94 and West National Avenue, on the grounds of the Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
